Rep Rep Rep is a free, non-commercial course run by one person. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. This page says what the site keeps and how you can see or delete it.

If you don't sign in

Your ticks, finished lessons, notes and layout are saved in your own browser (local storage). They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.

If you sign in with Google or GitHub

The site keeps:

• your name and email address, as Google or GitHub share them (the email only if they say it's verified),
• your Google or GitHub account number, so it can recognise you next time,
• your progress (the same ticks, notes and layout as above), so it follows you to other devices,
• a sign-in session that lasts 30 days. Only a scrambled form (a hash) of it is stored.

No password is ever seen or stored, and the site keeps nothing else from your Google or GitHub account. Your data is used only to run the course for you. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising.

Cookies

Only when you sign in: one cookie that keeps you signed in, and three short-lived cookies (ten minutes) that protect the sign-in itself. There are no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

Where it's kept, and who else is involved

• Cloudflare hosts the site and the database (D1). Like any web host, it handles your IP address to serve pages and keeps short-lived request logs for running and debugging the site.
• Google or GitHub, only when you choose to sign in with them. Their own privacy policies apply on their sign-in pages.
• Google Fonts serves the fonts this site uses, so your browser asks Google for them when a page loads.

See, download or delete your data

On your account page you can download everything the site keeps about you as one file, and delete your account. Deleting removes your account, your saved progress and your sessions straight away. Progress saved in your browser stays there until you clear it.

Messages

Messages sent with the form below are emailed to the person who runs the site (through Cloudflare) and a copy is kept for up to a year, then deleted. If you're signed in, a message is linked to your account and included in your download. When you delete your account, the link is removed but the message itself stays until it's dealt with.
